Australian Residential Energy Rating 2020 Conference (ARER 2020) Postponed

March 18, 2020

The ARER Conference plays an important role in Australia’s energy sector, forging links between energy assessors, builders, architects, regulators, researchers and academics. After careful consideration CSIRO has made the decision to postpone the Australian Residential Energy Rating 2020 Conference (ARER 2020) originally scheduled to be held Tuesday 12 May – Wednesday 13 May 2020.

These measures have been put in place to help prevent the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) and to ensure delivery of a high-quality conference. We trust that you understand that this decision has been made in the best interests of our delegates, speakers, industry, and the broader community.

We are currently working with our partners to determine a revised date for the Conference which we aim to hold in the last quarter of 2020. Once this information is confirmed we will be in contact with all delegates and speakers to advise the process of transferring your current registration to the new conference dates or alternatively cancelling your registration if you are no longer able to attend.

If you have booked accommodation at Oaks Goldsbrough Apartments through the special discounted conference link provided to delegates, you will be able to modify or cancel your existing booking without incurring any accommodation penalty. Please note that you will need to make any amendments directly via Oaks Goldsbrough Apartments.

If you have any questions regarding the conference postponement, please do not hesitate to contact Susan Ryman-Kiernan, Wise Connections on behalf of CSIRO on #03 9885 6566 or arer2020@wiseconnections.com.au
