PV and Batteries

The dashboards displayed here utilise data from the Clean Energy Regulator’s Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme (© Clean Energy Regulator, Commonwealth of Australia). The Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme creates a financial incentive for individuals and small businesses to install eligible small-scale renewable energy systems such as solar panel systems. Under the Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme, eligible small-scale renewable energy systems may be entitled to small-scale technology certificates, which can be sold to recoup a portion of the cost of purchasing and installing the system.

The Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme is not restricted to households and small businesses may also take advantage of the scheme. Consequently, the data presented here covers all certificates created under the scheme, which will include non-residential buildings.

PV Installs

Battery Installs

This dashboard is based on voluntarily disclosed data for batteries that were installed at the same time as the solar PV system.

Collection of grid-connected installations with disclosed battery data commenced in September 2014.
