The current data obtained through the NatHERS Universal Certificates contains very limited data on appliances and other additional energy saving features, such as PV and battery installs. Consequently, many of the dashboards displayed in this section have utilised data from other sources. It is hoped that future versions of the NatHERS tools will start to collect appliance information.
Appliances Dashboards
PV – PV installs by postcode. Includes number and total output.
Hot Water – Solar and heat pump hot water system installs by postcode and distribution of gas hot water systems that are currently available in Australia.
Heating and Cooling – Heating and cooling load limits by NatHERS climate zones
Ceiling fans – Distribution of number of ceiling fans in dwellings by NCC climate zone and State and Territories
Air Conditioners – Distribution of energy efficiency ratings and output capacity of refrigerative air conditioners that are currently available in Australia.
Appliances – Distribution of energy efficiency and features for various appliances based on data from the Equipment Energy Efficiency (E3) website.
